What Freemiums stores
- Email address. Used only to send you a sign-in link. Not shared with any third party.
- Sign-in tokens. Short-lived, hashed, and deleted after use or after 15 minutes.
- Session tokens. A hashed session ID stored in Cloudflare KV and in a browser cookie. The cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite.
- Trial passes. Which app you got a pass for and when it expires. One pass per person per app.
- Upvotes. Which apps you upvoted.
- "List your app" submissions. The app name, link, tagline, description and contact email you enter on the form.
Analytics
Freemiums uses Plausible for page-view analytics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites.
Services
- Cloudflare. Hosts the site and stores data in Cloudflare KV (their free tier).
- Resend. Sends the sign-in emails. Your email address is sent to Resend for delivery only.
No tracking cookies
The only cookie is the session cookie set when you sign in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
